Seascape Restaurant – Oceanfront Dining in Briny Breezes Florida

The last time I dined at the Seascape Restaurant in Briny Breezes was about January 1974.

I met my parents for dinner there and while dining, learned that the restaurant would be closing to become the park’s oceanfront clubhouse.

As I sat at the table looking about the dining room — and out the windows towards the ocean — I recalled childhood memories of dining here with my parents and with my grandmother.

I felt so sad in hearing that it would close – taking my memories with it – it seemed to be a shame to lose such a lovely dining spot.

But I’m sure the current residents enjoy the clubhouse and the view it affords them as they relax on the deck, looking out to sea or visiting neighbors.
